Starting, Restarting, Stopping, and Forcibly Stopping a VPS

If the server is turned off, you’ll see 1 button

Start

This button starts up the server with the operating system. If you’ve started the server but it isn’t coming online, check the console to see what’s going on with the server.

Restart

This button sends a “Reboot” signal to the server. The server is shut down and restarted.

Stop

This button sends a “Shutdown” signal to the server. The server will close all processes and programs, and a moment later it will be shut down.

Forced shutdown

If your server won’t shut down, you can use the “Force Shutdown” button. It’s like unplugging the server—it shuts down immediately.
